We were absolutely over the moon to be named as finalists for the awards! It was ecstatic and overwhelming, after giving our all to the application, to be acknowledged as one of the leading businesses in Taupo! We would like to use this opportunity to thank all of our marvellous customers for supporting Spacecraft! Your ongoing support and warm relations mean so much to us – thank you.

Finalists in the Business Awards!!

Phew, what a whirlwind this last month or so has been. We have been going flat out here at Spacecraft preparing our entry submission for the Taupo Business Awards. It took maybe three or four weeks to complete all twelve sections of the application - and many late nights staying up writing. Thank goodness we had the cricket world cup to keep us company! After a lot of hard work, we managed to just scrape past the deadline with only minutes to spare.

Despite its lengthy and involved nature, the process of applying for the business awards was an exceptional growth moment for Spacecraft. It was a fantastic opportunity to define ourselves, our values, and what we stand for. Furthermore, it forced us to write down some of the business policies and strategies we have been practicing without formal frameworks. Actually putting into words every single aspect of our operations allowed us to streamline our vision, define our identity and strategic direction. It was a perfect moment for our enterprise to flourish and for us to grow as businesswomen.

On top of all this, we were absolutely over the moon to be named as finalists for the awards! It was ecstatic and overwhelming, after giving our all to the application, to be acknowledged as one of the leading businesses in Taupo. We have spent the last four years tirelessly growing our business from the ground up, from an amateurish garage project to a trailblazing destination store. The Spacecraft venture has been our passion, our baby, for six years – so we were extremely proud to be recognised for what we have achieved with elbow grease, a bit of nous, and all our amazing supporters. We would like to use this opportunity to thank all of our marvellous customers for supporting Spacecraft! Your ongoing support and warm relations mean so much to us – thank you. Thanks also to the business awards for the recognition and what we have learned.
