Make Give Live Taupo 2019 - Have a go!

Make Give Live Taupo - meets every Wednesday 7.30pm at Plateau during winter. The charity this year is the Taupo Women's Refuge.

Make Give Live is social enterprise - there are community based knitting groups around New Zealand. As a Social Enterprise, groups knit hats that are sold - for every hat that is sold one is donated to someone in need in New Zealand.  Hats are available for sale at Spacecraft, Suncourt Plaza.

Being part of a Make Give Live group is like having a second family, they knit but the groups also nurture their own mental health and wellbeing. Looking after yourself is essential and it is a proven fact that knitting has a multitude of therapeutic benefits, including reducing stress, improving self confidence and helping provide meaningful connections and purpose, especially when you are part of a community.

Don't know how to knit, no problem, join the Taupo Make Give Live group and learn a new skill! All levels welcome :-)
